Gifts for Cherrelyn: Church & Society is working to fill 50 bags of presents for residents of nearby Cherrelyn Care Center who have no family in the area. We are collecting donations of $25 per individual, and we are FAR BEHIND our goal. Please stop by Grant Fellowship Hall today or place a check with “Cherrelyn” in the memo in the plate or mail. Help us make sure we don’t disappoint these special people this holiday season!
 
Christmas Greens: If you ordered holiday greens from Troop 114, we will be in Grant Fellowship Hall this Sunday from 9:00-12:00 p.m. for pickup. If you missed out on pre-ordering, we will have limited extras so make sure you stop by and see what we have available! Please plan to make your payment via cash or check. Great Escape's Christmas Program: Great Escape's Christmas Music Program is Thursday, December 11th at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome to come see the cuteness overload!
 
Handel's Messiah: Plan now to bring family and friends to either morning worship service on Sunday, December 14th for a spiritual supercharge to your Advent! Our own Chancel Choir will be joined by our region’s finest musicians and soloists for two musical worship services featuring the Christmas portion of Handel's powerful music.
 
Christmas Pageant Rehearsals: Sunday mornings 9:30-9:50 a.m. weekly, downstairs in the Children's Worship room for all.
 
Christmas Pageant: Come support our children as they tell the story of Baby Jesus! The performance is December 14th at 9:45 a.m. in Grant Fellowship Hall, and will include a Cookie and Cocoa Reception to follow.
 
Youth Christmas Party: On December 14th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. we're celebrating the holiday with a Youth Christmas Party! Wear your Christmas Pajamas and bring a white elephant gift with a limit of $10.00. If your family is interested in hosting please reach out to Hannah!
 
Vitalant Blood Drive: Give the gift of life for Christmas! We’re hosting a blood drive on Thursday, December 18th from 1:30-5:30 p.m. (enter through Door #6 on Shepperd St). Caroling at Cherrelyn: On December 19th, Family Ministries will share the joy of Christmas by caroling at Cherrelyn Manor! Gather at the church 5:45 p.m. to rideshare/caravan to Cherrelyn Manor (5555 S. Elati St .), then return to LUMC for cocoa and cookies at 7:00 p.m.
