UMCOR Sunday – This Sunday is UMCOR Sunday! Through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) we make a difference in the lives of communities and individuals whose lives have been upset by storms, wars, fires, displacement, and climate change. Please use the special offering envelope and make your check out to LUMC designated for UMCOR Sunday. Your generosity covers administrative costs and keeps UMCOR operating, so thank you for contributing!

Together on the Way – Our Lenten journey continues on Wednesday evenings through March 25th. We’ll start with an evening meal at 5:00 p.m. followed by an hour-long discussion led by Pastor Chris at 6:00 p.m. in Grant Fellowship Hall.

 

Children's Lenten Experience – Children are invited to join Mrs. Lisa for a Children's Lenten experience on Wednesday evenings from February 25th to March 18th.

Diaper Drive – Remember, this Sunday is THE LAST DAY OF OUR DIAPER DRIVE FOR LOVE, INC! Even a single box of diapers makes a huge difference, so please contribute what you can to help our local families keep their little ones safe and clean. ​

Love, INC. Presentation – Join us March 16th at 12:00 p.m. in the Parlor for coffee, light refreshments, and a special presentation by Love, INC! We'll learn about this valuable community resource that provides support for the homeless.
Terrific Tuesday – Our next Terrific Tuesday will take place on March 17th at 12:00 p.m. and will feature Hank Wyeno’s program on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please call the church office to make a reservation so we can plan the amount of food.

Meal of the Upper Room – You are invited to join United Women in Faith for the annual Meal of the Upper Room on April 2nd, before the Maundy Thursday service. Everyone is invited to join us for a candlelight meal of holy remembrance. We gather in the Parlor beginning at 5:30 p.m. for quiet meditation (enter through Door 5 by the kitchen or Door 6 on Sheppard St). Promptly at 6:00 p.m., we will enter Grant Fellowship Hall and quietly share a meal similar to what might have been served in Christ's day. Reservations are required by Tuesday, March 31st, and cancellations are requested by 4:00 p.m. on April 2nd. Please call the church office if you plan to attend.​

Eggstravaganza – Children and families, join us for a fun and festive Easter celebration on April 5th at 9:45 a.m. in Grant Fellowship Hall! We’ll have an egg hunt, crafts, games, and special treats. Questions? Contact Lisa Perkins.

Volunteer Appreciation High Tea – You’re warmly invited to a delightful afternoon of fellowship at our High Tea Event on Monday April 20th at 1:00 p.m.! Join us for tea, light refreshments, and wonderful conversation as we gather together in a relaxed and elegant setting. Please R.S.V.P to the church office for this event.

Library Carts – The Library Committee at LUMC offers two different book carts to support and encourage your love of reading! The first offers books for temporary check out, while the second offers free books for you to keep! Directions are listed on each cart.
