Green Team

The Green Team’s motto is “Stepping Up for Planet Earth.” Our LUMC group endeavors to participate in a monthly activity that promotes community and the sustainability of our environment.

Our Activities

  • Annual Recycling Drive

  • Bi-yearly cleanup of the church grounds

  • Sorting donated supplies at Project Cure

  • Apple gleaning with Grow Local Colorado

  • Yearly trash removal from the South Platte River

  • Informational sessions and guest speakers on environmental topics​

The Green Team meets the third Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. All are welcome; green thumbs not required!
