Children and Family Ministries

Children’s and Family Ministry at LUMC is led by Lisa Perkins, who holds a Master’s in Education and previously served as an Elementary School teacher for ten years in Texas.

Children’s and Family Ministries are active year round, and serve infants through Grade 5. Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday School for preschool – Grade 5 from 9:45-10:45 a.m., and our nursery is available for ages 0-3.

Children are always welcome in worship services; Children’s Worship is also available for children in 3-5th grades during both services. Fellowship offerings throughout the year include gatherings and activities like movie nights, sprinkler parties, holiday celebrations, craft parties, pageants, and summer camps!

Toddlers and Wobblers

July 18th @ 10:00 a.m.
July 18th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. we're having play time at the LUMC playground. Toddlers and Wobblers will be on the toddler playground while elementary friends play on the big playground. Bring a camp chair and a water bottle.

Movie Night: Minions: Rise of Gru

July 25th @ 5:45 p.m.
Minions: Rise of Gru movie night is July 24th in the Reception Hall. You bring the sides, I’ll bring the pizza. Kids, bring your blankets and pillows for some movie night fun! Parents, bring a camp chair or use a folding chair. Please note that this is not a drop off event. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:00 p.m. Come early to run your sillies out on the hillside!
