Children and Family Ministries

Children’s and Family Ministry at LUMC is led by Lisa Perkins, who holds a Master’s in Education and previously served as an Elementary School teacher for ten years in Texas.

Children’s and Family Ministries are active year round, and serve infants through Grade 5. Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday School for preschool – Grade 5 from 9:45-10:45 a.m., and our nursery is available for ages 0-3.

Children are always welcome in worship services; Children’s Worship is also available for children in 3-5th grades during both services. Fellowship offerings throughout the year include gatherings and activities like movie nights, sprinkler parties, holiday celebrations, craft parties, pageants, and summer camps!

Family Movie Night

September 11th @ 5:45 p.m.
We will be hosting a screening of Turbo on Friday, September 11th. Door #1 opens at 5:45 p.m. and the movie starts at 6:00 p.m.

Children's Council Meeting

September 13th @ 4:30 p.m.
Our first Children’s Council meeting of the school year will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Reception Hall. This is a hybrid meeting; click here for the meeting link.

3rd Grade Bible Boot Camp

September 20th-October 11th @ 9:45 a.m.
We're hosting our 3rd Grade Bible Boot Camp every Sunday during the Sunday School hour.

Trick-or-Treat Street

October 25th
Our Trick-or-Treat Street will be held in LUMC’s Grant Fellowship Hall. Stay tuned for more details!
