Watch the Live Stream Here Current Sermon Series Joyful Anyway “How are you?” Most of us aren’t entirely honest when someone asks us that question. It would just take too long to give our real answer! Because life is messy. We may feel decent, but there is that nagging thing. And that other thing. And that health issue you can’t forget. There’s just always something. Yet, joy can bubble up even in the midst of it all. Kate Bowler takes on that tension in her new book, Joyful, Anyway , which will be the theme material for Pastor Chris’s sermon series beginning June 14th . We Christians often put on a brave face, covering up our struggles. Bowler has a gift for encouraging us to lean into our real lives and authentic selves. We need not apologize for how we’re doing, whether upbeat or not. If you or someone you know is struggling–and if you have before or figure you may again–this could be an encouraging series. Children at LUMC We are delighted to have children at our services and as a part of our faith community. Our weekly services include a Children's Message, and children are invited to move to the Children's Ministry area for Children's Church afterwards (they are also welcome to remain in the service with their families if that is preferred). We also have a nursery is available for infants (up to 2 years) throughout the morning. Sundays also offer Sunday School, and our dedicated Children's ministry is full of activities and fun faith opportunities!
