This fresh take on the foundational roots of The United Methodist Church is perfect for anyone new to the UMC and for long time members. Hosted by Rev. Chris Carr in September 2025.
The After Party
With the After Party, you’ll be equipped and encouraged to do the hard work of engaging across differences, reframing your political identity in light of the Gospel’s promises, and focusing your heart and mind on the “how” of relating to each other before the “what” of political opinions. We'll go through the course together so we can share in conversation and foster our own relationships through creation of a brave space. Hosted by Rev. Christ Carr in October 2025.
What in the World
What does the United Methodist Church say about the hot button issues of our time? How does a worldwide denomination go about saying these things? What if I don’t agree with everything the UMC says about everything? These discussions were rooted in Social Principles as they now stand and were part of the What in the World sermon series presented by Rev. Chris Carr in January 2026.
